The "Digital Biobanks - Virtual Experience at BCU Imaging Biobank" event contains information, presentations and interactive material through which the visitor can discover information, details and curiosities regarding biobanks and, in particular, image biobanks. The latter, in fact, are only recently defined and contain anamnestic data, examinations and information relating to patients and citizens who have given their consent and thus help progress and scientific research. At the end of the various experiences there will be tests and multimedia activities on biobanks.

The event is organized by Bio Check Up in collaboration with BBMRI.it and is part of the framework of the Biotech Week: a week of events and exhibitions to talk about biotechnologies, promoted and coordinated at national level by Assobiotec-Federchimica. From 27/09/2021 at 09:00 and until 03/10/2021 at 18:00 there will be a series of meetings promoted by companies, institutions, museums, schools, universities, associations, professionals, with the aim of disseminating contents and advances in the field of biotechnology.
