Founded in 1990, Bio Check Up services are related to professional consultancy, assistance and research in diagnostic imaging.

We provide teleradiology services through proprietary solutions with high technological innovation to support clinical decision-making processes. Furthermore, our Company promotes the integration and exchange information’s among health providers, specialists and patients.

EIT Health was established in 2015, as a ‘knowledge and innovation community’ (KIC) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Through this unique collaborative approach, EIT Health is empowering a network of innovators to overcome barriers, challenge convention and take action to put innovative products and services into the hands of those that need them the most. This unique ecosystem provides a space where innovation can take shape through collaboration for a healthier future.

Headquartered in Budapest, EIT Health InnoStars spans several geographic regions in Hungary, Italy, Poland and Portugal. EIT Health InnoStats promotes healthcare innovation with competitions, education, support to start-ups, conferences and many other activities. As EIT Health’s implementer of the Regional Innovation Scheme of the EIT, InnoStars is able to extend its impact beyond these principal regions, to reach an even broader range of European citizens.

The European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR) is dedicated to the coordination of research projects and aims to support the development of biomedical imaging technologies and the dissemination of knowledge. EIBIR’s mission is to coordinate the development of biomedical imaging technologies in Europe and to support the dissemination of knowledge with the ultimate goal of improving diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.

Bio Check Up Srl is part of the BBMRI-ERIC Expert Centres on Biomarkers. Specifically, the company works in cooperation with BBMRI and the other Expert Centres and partners in order to validate and verify biomarkers and accelerate the clinical research. Moreover, our BCU Imaging Biobank (BCU-IB) is listed with a COVID-19 collection on BBMRI.it.

The Association “Cyber 4.0” is established in order to implement and develop a highly specialized competence center, as in the MISE Decree 29-01-2018 “Costituzione di centri di competenza ad alta specializzazione in grado di favorire il trasferimento di soluzioni tecnologiche e l'innovazione nei processi, nei prodotti e nei modelli di business derivanti dallo sviluppo, adozione e diffusione delle tecnologie in ambito 4.0”. Cyber 4.0 is a non-partisan, apolitical and non-profit association and aims to develop, coordinate, implement a program of activities concerning IT security. There are three specific thematic areas, such as e-health, automotive and space. The main goals are the realization of new products, processes or services and the development of of innovative technologies, processes or integrated services in the Industry 4.0.

Highly specialized competence center. MedITech is a highly specialized competence center of Campania and Puglia in the form of a public-private partnership. MedITech follows the standards written in the MISE Decree 29-01-2018 “Costituzione di centri di competenza ad alta specializzazione in grado di favorire il trasferimento di soluzioni tecnologiche e l'innovazione nei processi, nei prodotti e nei modelli di business derivanti dallo sviluppo, adozione e diffusione delle tecnologie in ambito 4.0” and is consistent with the framework of the interventions of the National Industry 4.0 Plan.

Bio Check Up has quality certification ISO/IEC 9001:2015, International quality certification Qmentum Accreditation Canada and uses the Health Level 7 standard

Accreditation Canada provides an assessment of healthcare organization using standards built upon best practices used and validated in the world. Accreditation Canada is an ongoing process of assessing health and social services organizations against standards of excellence to identify what is being done well and what needs to be improved. The Qmentum Accreditation Program allows to understand how to make better use of your resources, increase efficiency, enhance quality and safety, and reduce risk.

The ISO 9001: 2015 standard defines the requirements of a quality management system for an organization. This certification is the reference standard for those structures who want to submit cyclically their production process to quality control, from the definition of the requirements of the customers, up to the monitoring of the entire workflow. The customer and his satisfaction are the main point of ISO 9001; every activity, application and monitoring of the activities / processes is aimed at determining the maximum satisfaction of the end user. The phases of application of the standard start from the definition of the procedures and registrations for each single process or macro process identified within the company organization.

Health Level 7 (HL7) is the internationally reference standard for the exchange of computer data in the medical field that allows all the health systems to communicate with each other.

HL7 defines the level of interoperability for the exchange of messages between the various systems and organizations, for decision support, mark-up procedures used for document definition, interface integration, methods for interaction development and data representation model.

HL7 is a global organization active in more than 35 countries including Italy. HL7 Italia started in 2003 as part of HL7 International and is responsible for locating the standard on a nation-based system. It has the objective of stimulating regional and national contributions to the development of the standard and improving the modernization of the Italian health IT.
